INTERNATIONAL OCEAN SERVICES together with internationally famous CAFÉ SPORT will be offering daily trips on their high-speed catamaran to visit the many types of Cetaceans including Sperm, Humpback and Killer whales (Orcas) as they pass slowly between the islands. An expert crew who's knowledge of this enchanted area and of the whales will be devoted to making your whale watching holiday a memorable one.

The enormous excitement felt by people upon their first sight of a breaching sperm whale or a bow riding dolphin either renders them speechless or they can talk about nothing else for days. Nothing can prepare you for standing in a boat and being within arms length of a 50 tonne sperm whale as it prepares to dive to depths of 2000m for an hour or more. When guests know what is in store the excitement can be felt in the air.

And the unexpected? No one expects to see such beautiful islands so far out in the North Atlantic. From the soaring heights of Pico to the lush pastures of Faial, the scenery of the Azores is breathtaking. Plenty of areas to walk and ramble in peace and solitude. The people on the islands are friendly and charming. The food is superb and the wines have graced the tables of Russian Czars. These islands neither encourage nor want mass tourism, and consequently remain unspoilt, tranquil places to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Western life - without having to do without civilization completely.
